This is a special album for the Band as all the material has been selected by their audience.
The Band wanted to do something different and invited their audiences from venues all over the country to make suggestions of numbers they wanted to be included on their next CD.
The result is a CD that is full of variety with driving swing numbers, sultry bossa novas and romantic ballads. There's also a mixture of rhythms ranging from jazz waltzes, to pulsating swing, to the ever popular five four classic "Take 5".

The CD also features USA jazz musician Jim Fryer on trombone and cornet.
Jim began his professional career at age 16 in the Boston area and has since toured internationally many times, recorded on dozens of occasions and played television, radio, theaters and concert halls in a variety of musical settings.
As well as being an exceptional jazz trombonist covering many eras of jazz styles, his talents also include jazz cornet, euphonium, tuba and vocals.
Jim has worked with Band of Gold on three occasions at Keswick and Bude Jazz festivals. Following Bude Jazz Festival 2005, Jim and the Band set out on a week's tour of the South West - this tour was instigated by Jim himself as he enjoys playing with the band so much, a direct quote being that "they are awesome"!
